15 May Customer Feedback – Some Journeys Stay Forever in the Heart ❤️
Dear Sanjay & Ibo from Indian Circuit Holidays,
Some journeys are not merely trips , they are invitations. An invitation from the divine, extended only to those whose hearts are ready. The Char Dham Yatra is one such calling, and I believe that those who become a medium in making it possible are nothing short of messengers themselves like both of you.
This journey is unlike anything words can fully capture. From the moment you set foot on this path to the moment you complete it, you are no longer travelling alone. You meet people ,strangers who quickly become fellow pilgrims and somehow, mysteriously, you keep crossing paths with them again and again along the way, as if the Yatra itself is weaving you together.
One moment that will stay with me forever is meeting an elderly aunt on the way , a woman who was not in the best of health, and yet her resolve to complete this journey was unshakeable. Her determination was humbling. It made me realise that this pilgrimage is not about physical strength alone , it is driven by something far deeper, a calling of the soul.
And yet, this journey also shows you its other face. We witnessed fellow pilgrims who were unable to complete the Yatra. There were mishaps on the way. Sadly, there was one who lost his life, and others who suffered deeply in body and spirit. Witnessing all of this ,the struggle, the sacrifice, the fragility of life against these mighty mountains made me reflect deeply on how truly blessed Anu and I were to complete it safely, every single step of it.
What I also discovered on this journey is that the Char Dham is not just about visiting four sacred shrines , it is a gentle reminder to pause, to breathe, and to honour the magnificence of mother nature. Standing beside those ancient mountains and flowing rivers, your worries quietly dissolve. You realise how small you are, and somehow, that realisation is not frightening ,it is deeply liberating. Nature asks nothing of you except that you surrender, and in that surrender, there is an extraordinary peace. The landscapes we passed through were breathtaking beyond measure. My camera is full of photographs, and yet every picture feels like an incomplete sentence. There were moments during the drive when the car fell completely silent , no one spoke, no one needed to. We simply sat together, looking out at the serene beauty of the world around us, letting it wash over us. Those quiet moments, I think, were the soul of this journey.
I carry immense gratitude in my heart to the divine, for the blessing, and to you, Sanjay and Ibo, for being the medium that made this sacred journey possible for us.
To Sanjay and Ibo — thank you for arranging our Char Dham journey so beautifully. This is not a trip that can be planned like any ordinary travel. It is a test of body, mind, and soul and yet, because of your care and thoughtfulness, every moment felt held. The stays were comfortable given the terrain and conditions, the food was wonderful, the vehicles were smooth and reliable, and the overall journey was something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. You didn’t just plan a trip ,you added grace to a sacred experience. I enjoyed every single bit of it.
IBO – A special word of appreciation to you. your patience, warmth, and consistency were truly remarkable. We were asking the same questions almost every day, calling on Sundays, sometimes without a second thought and not once did you make us feel like a burden. You picked up every call, answered every query with the same calm and cheerfulness, and made the entire coordination feel effortless. That kind of energy is rare, and it made a world of difference.
Sanjay, I have known you for many years now, and I have watched you grow from those early days when we used to coordinate directly, to today, where you have built a wonderful team around you. You are doing what you love, and you are doing it beautifully. That is a rare and precious thing. May your business grow bigger and bigger, may you reach greater heights, and may every journey you arrange touch someone’s life the way this one has touched mine. I wish you, Ibo, and your entire team nothing but the very best.
Avtaar Negi – would also like to request that a special thank you be conveyed to Negi ji, our driver for the Char Dham trip. I have already expressed my gratitude to him personally, but I felt it important that he hears it through you as well because he truly deserves to be acknowledged. He was always ready on time, calm, and completely dependable throughout the journey. He was a man of few words but full of care ,sober, focused, and quietly attentive to our needs at every step. And what always struck us was his energy ,every single time we called him, without fail, he would respond with a cheerful and enthusiastic “Haanji ma’am!” full of warmth and readiness. That small phrase, delivered every time with such genuine enthusiasm, somehow became the soundtrack of our trip and always brought a smile to our faces. What made him truly special, however, was his heart. On the way, he took us to the beautiful Triyuginarayan temple and the serene ArdhNareshwar temple , two gems of our trip. He made sure we experienced all the Panch Prayags and also took us to Jyotirmath , adding so much richness and depth to our journey. These were not just stops ,they became some of our most cherished memories of the entire trip.
And beyond the road and the temples, it was the little human moments with Negiji that made the journey even more special. We had some wonderfully light hearted moments teasing him about his friend Joshiji ,another driver who seemed to be travelling almost parallel to us with a different group, and the friendly rivalry between them kept us all smiling. And then there were Anu’s ginger candies , an absolute hit! he loved them so much that by the end of the trip he had placed his order for the next visit ,two kilos of ginger candies, no less! Those little moments of laughter and warmth are what make a journey truly unforgettable. Please do pass on our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to him.
The Char Dham Yatra is something every soul should experience at least once in their lifetime. And having people like you ,dedicated, warm, and deeply committed makes these extraordinary journeys not just possible, but truly memorable.
Thank you for being the messengers that you are. And this thank you is not just for the Char Dham alone. When I look back, I realise how many journeys of my life have had your fingerprints on them . Mahakal, Kanchipuram, Varanasi, Goa, Ladakh, Spiti, Jaipur, Nainitaal, Dharamshala, Nepal trip, and so many more. I may have lost count, but you never did. Trip after trip, each one arranged with the same care, the same perfection, the same quiet dedication. You have been a constant and trusted presence in my travels, and that means more than I can express.
To Hari Prasad
I must also take a moment to apologise . Sometimes in the busyness of life, we forget to pause and acknowledge the people who truly deserve our gratitude. That is not right, and I am sorry for not having said this sooner. Hari Prasad, the care and extra effort you put into arranging the Varanasi and Ayodhya trip for my father and uncle did not go unnoticed ,it went straight to their hearts, and to mine. They came back so happy, so comfortable, so well looked after. For a child, there is no greater joy than seeing their parents return from a sacred journey with a smile on their face. What stood out beyond the planning was the genuine care shown on the ground , your driver was there to receive my uncle from the railway station at midnight without a moment’s hesitation during indigo fiasco. That kind of reliability and dedication speaks volumes. and when my father’s flight was diverted to Varanasi instead of Prayagraj, your driver patiently waited for long hours until he made his way there. That patience and commitment, especially in such an unexpected situation, truly touched our hearts. That smile and happiness on their faces ,it is because of you, and I am deeply grateful. I guess he has left the company but please do convey him my regards and pass this message to him.
And finally, a very big thank you to Anu for being my companion on this incredible journey. There were many moments, not just one, when we were in two minds about whether to go at all. Our professional commitments were pulling us back, and so were some recent health concerns. But something in us said yes. I believe now that it was a calling not just for me, not just for you, but a calling for us to make this journey together. From our HSBC days to today, life has taken us through so many chapters and yet, I never imagined that one of those chapters would be this the two of us, completing the Char Dham Yatra side by side. I am so glad we listened to that calling. Thank you, Anu. It was a truly great, great trip.
And I say this with complete conviction this is not my last visit. I am not done yet. The mountains are still calling, and I know that at some point, I will answer that call again, not once, not twice but many more times. Until then, thank you all for everything.
