Itinerary Details

Day 01: Mysore – Coorg (Madikeri) (120 km / 3 hrs)

Meet on arrival at Mysore and drive to Coorg – popularly known as the ‘Scotland of India’. Check in to your resort and enjoy lunch. Later, visit the beautiful Abbey Falls nestled amidst coffee and spice plantations. Continue to explore the 19th-century Madikeri Fort, which now houses a museum and the district prison. Visit the unique Omkareshwara Temple, built in 1820 with a blend of Islamic and Kerala architectural styles. In the evening, relax at Raja’s Seat, a scenic viewpoint known for sunset views and lush gardens. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Coorg – Mysore via Kushalnagar

After an early breakfast, check out and head to Dubare Elephant Camp (reach before 8:30 AM) for a hands-on experience with elephants – including grooming, feeding, and learning about their habits. Later, visit Cauvery Nisargadhama, an island picnic spot known for bamboo groves and hanging bridges. After lunch at Kushalnagar, explore Bylakuppe, South India’s largest Tibetan settlement, and admire the golden statues inside the Namdroling Monastery. By evening, drive back to Mysore and drop at the railway station or airport for your onward journey. Tour ends with beautiful memories of nature, culture, and elephants.
