Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar – Chill Day

Arrive in Srinagar and spend the day relaxing. Enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride at sunset on Nigeen Lake, take a leisurely walk through the old city, and visit the beautiful Jamia Masjid. Stay overnight in a traditional houseboat or a cozy boutique hotel.

Day 2: Srinagar to Gurez Valley (130–140 km | 6–8 hrs)

Begin the scenic drive to Gurez Valley via Bandipora, crossing the breathtaking Razdan Pass. Reach Dawar, the main town in Gurez, and settle into a local guesthouse or eco-stay. In the evening, take a stroll along the Kishanganga River.

Day 3: Explore Gurez – Habba Khatoon & Local Villages

Visit the Habba Khatoon Spring and explore the base of the iconic peak. Spend time in local villages like Kanzalwan or Purez to interact with the warm locals. Try authentic Wazwan dishes or local Gurezi breads. Optionally, enjoy a bonfire night by the river.

Day 4: Gurez to Tulail Valley – Drive Deeper into Nowhere

Take a jeep or local vehicle to drive further into the remote and stunning Tulail Valley. Stop by offbeat villages like Sheikhpora and Chakwali near the LOC. Enjoy the peace and untouched landscapes. Return to Dawar or stay overnight at a Tulail homestay if available.

Day 5: Gurez to Naranag – Stay in a Forest Cabin

Drive back from Gurez and take a detour to Naranag, known for its ancient temple ruins and trek routes. Spend the night in a peaceful forest cabin or a riverside hut amidst nature.

Day 6: Naranag to Yusmarg via Beerwah – Offbeat Beauty

Travel to Yusmarg through the less-explored Beerwah route. Spend the day enjoying the peaceful meadows, ideal for nature walks, river picnics, or a short horse ride. Stay overnight in a simple cottage or forest guest house.

Day 7: Yusmarg to Srinagar – Local Market Day

Return to Srinagar via the spiritually significant Charar-e-Sharief shrine. Dedicate the day to exploring local markets like Lal Chowk, Zaina Kadal, or the floating vegetable market early morning. Shop for pashmina shawls, paper mâché crafts, and dried fruits.

Day 8 (Optional): Doodhpathri Day Trip or Fly Out

If time allows, take a relaxing day trip to Doodhpathri for its green meadows and pristine rivers. Otherwise, fly out of Srinagar with beautiful memories of Kashmir’s remote and serene corners.
