Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrive Gangotri (10–12 hrs drive from Dehradun/Rishikesh)

[vc_column_text]Arrive at Gangotri (3,100 m), the starting point of the trek. Visit the Gangotri Temple and relax.
Overnight stay in guesthouse/tent at Gangotri.[/vc_column_text]

Day 2: Trek from Gangotri to Bhojwasa (14 km / 5–6 hrs)

[vc_column_text]Begin the trek through Chirbasa (3,600 m), a forest of pine trees along the Bhagirathi River. Continue to Bhojwasa, a beautiful campsite with views of snow-covered peaks.
Overnight stay in tents at Bhojwasa.[/vc_column_text]

Day 3: Bhojwasa to Gaumukh (4 km) – Return to Bhojwasa (4 km)

[vc_column_text]Start early for a hike to Gaumukh, the snout of Gangotri Glacier and source of River Ganga. Spend time in meditation, darshan, or photography, then trek back to Bhojwasa.

Day 4: Bhojwasa to Gangotri (14 km / 5–6 hrs)

[vc_column_text]Descend back to Gangotri, enjoying the scenic trail and river views along the way.

Day 5: Gangotri to Dehradun / Rishikesh
