Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Arrive – Kathmandu - Arrival and transfer to Hotel.

According to your flight details, you will be greeted by our representative at the international airport with
a paper card where your name will be written. Then, we will assist you to transfer to the Hotel where you
will be welcomed by tea/coffee. In the evening we will have a welcome dinner organized by our team to
get to know each other after that we will spend overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 : Kathmandu - Lukla (2,800 m/9,184 ft)- Phakding (2,652 m/8,700 ft): 3-4 hrs.

We will fly to Lukla in the early morning (40 minutes). After preparing trekking equipment and checking
at the listed point to show permits, we will start our first day of trek to Phakding. After walking downhill
for 3-4 hours and following Dudh Koshi River we will reach Phakding where we will have our first
overnight.

Day 03 : Phakding -Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 ft): -5-6 hrs.

The second day of our trekking starts with hot tea/coffee and some breakfast at Tea House, after that, we
will begin our trekking at around 8 in the morning. The trail passes through Dhud Koshi River, the
Rhododendron forest, and the Sagarmatha National Park entry gate. After crossing the up and downhill
and some suspension bridges, we will reach Namche Bazaar which is located between Bhotekoshi and
Dhud Koshi River, one of the developed cities of the Khumbu region. Overall, we will stay overnight at
Namche Bazaar.

Day 04 : Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization Day.

Today you will have the full time to do sightseeing in Namche Bazaar which will help you to acclimate to
the attitude of Namche Bazaar so that your body becomes familiar with the surroundings. Namche Bazaar
is the community village of the Sherpa people where you can also get facilities like health post, post office,
restaurant, bookshop, internet cyber café, etc. In the daytime, you can also hike to ‘Hotel Everest View’
to watch the sunrise along with that you can also visit Khumbu Valley where you can explore the village
school and the health post.

Day 05 : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 5 - 6 hrs.

The trail will lead through the bank of the Panchoche River and a decent rhododendron forest, with views
of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. After crossing the suspension bridge of Phungi Thanga and
walking around one hour uphill we will reach Tengboche. Tengboche village has a large Buddhist
monastery “Tengboche Monastery”, which is the largest gompa in the Khumbu region and is also listed as
a UNESCO World Heritage site after that we will spend overnight at Tengboche.

Day 06 : Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300ft):5- 6 hrs.

We start our trek after having breakfast at the hotel. We walk downhill through Deboche and cross the
suspension bridge then, walk uphill with the view of the rhododendron forest, birds, and a very close
view of Mt. Ama Dablam and Island Peak. We stay overnight at Dingboche.

Day 07 : Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): Acclimatization Day.

The second day of acclimatization will help us to maintain health familiar with altitude. We will allow you
a full day to explore the vicinity of Dingboche. Dingboche is the gateway for the Island Peak expedition
which will take a 7-8 hours uphill walk to reach the Island Peak base camp. However, we will walk up to
Chhukhung (4730m) by following Imja Khola. Chhukhung is one of the popular places to get the
paranormal view of Mt. Ama Dablam and Mt.Island Peak where we can spend quality time. The village also consists of several hotels and lodges for tourists. In the afternoon, we will have time to go sightseeing
around the valley we will spend overnight at Dingboche.

Day 08 : Dingboche - Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft): 3-4 hrs.

We will continue our journey by walking step up in the Northwest direction by following the beautiful
EBC trekking trial with some tea break on the way. After walking for two more or less hours we will be at
Thokla where we will stop for our lunch. After crossing Thokla pass and walking straight uphill we will be
at Lobuche where we will spend overnight.

Day 09 : Lobuche - Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961ft) - Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,594ft) - Gorak Shep: 8-9 hrs.

Today is the most important and one of the most difficult days of the trekking. So, we should keep our
bodies warm and prepare and build ourselves physically and mentally. We will start our trekking early in
the morning after having a yummy breakfast at the hotel. The trial is long and uphill so, we will walk slowly
with some breaks on the way. However, with every step of walking, we will see a closer and more
panoramic view of Mt. Everest. We will check in at the lodge on Gorakshep and put our bags at the Lodge.
We will stay some hours at the lodge for lunch and rest. After that, we will walk to Everest base camp
which takes around a 2-3 hour uphill walk. From the base camp, we will see the stunning view of Mt.
Everest with its full ranges and other popular mountain peaks. After soaking the beauty we will walk back
to Gorakshep where we will stay overnight.

Day 10 : Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar (5545m/18,192ft) - Pheriche (4,730m/15,518ft): 8-9 hrs.

Kala Patthar is the last point of trekking (5545 m). We will continue to walk to Kala Patthar in the early
morning for sunrise, which takes around two and a half hours of hiking. We will view the sunrise from the
world’s highest Mountain Mt. Everest with hot tea/coffee. We will also enjoy the amazing view of Everest
and several Himalayan peaks. We will spend some hours watching Everest and taking some photos/videos.
Then will walk back to Gorakshep for breakfast. After having, breakfast at the lodge, we will walk back
downhill to Pheriche by the same trekking route and will spend overnight at Pheriche.

Day 11 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,570m/11,710ft), 7-8 hrs walk

We will walk down by following the same walking trail which passes through the rhododendron and pine
forest and crosses the suspension bridges. While walking down we can see different kinds of wild birds,
mountain goats, yak, and some of the mountain rare animals. On the way we will walk by Sansa from
where we can see the great view of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, etc. We will walk through the forest and
some steps. Finally, we will reach Namche Bazaar where we will stay overnight.

Day 12 : Namche Bazaar-Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 7-8 hrs

On the last day of trekking, we will begin our trek walking slowly on the steps and rocks crossing some of
the popular bridges, following the Dhud Koshi river walking through pine and rhododendron forests, and
passing several Sherpa villages and different Buddhist monasteries we reach Lukla and will spend
overnight at Lukla.

Day 13 : Fly back to Kathmandu (1,400m/4,593 ft)

This is the last day in the Everest region. We will fly back to Kathmandu on our first flight (40min) to the
Domestic airport, Kathmandu where our office staff will be waiting for you at the airport. In the evening
we will have a farewell dinner with our office team leader where you can share your experience about
the Everest trek. Overall, we will spend overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 14 : Departure from Kathmandu

Last day in Nepal our office staff will drop you at the airport 2 hours before your actual flight, with some
good memories about us and indelible memories about trekking.
