Itinerary Details

Day 01: Arrive Gwalior

Arrival at Gwalior Airport/Railway Station. Transfer to hotel (15 km / 30 mins) and check-in. After some rest, proceed for local sightseeing with a professional guide. Visit the majestic Gwalior Fort, followed by the elegant Jai Vilas Palace Museum. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Gwalior.

Day 02: Gwalior – Morena Excursion (40 km / 2 hrs one way)

After breakfast, head for a day excursion to Morena. Explore the hidden architectural treasures of Mitawali, Padawali, and Bateshwar Temple Complex—a fascinating cluster of ancient temples surrounded by ravines and wilderness. Return to Gwalior by evening. Overnight stay in Gwalior.

Day 03: Gwalior – Datia – Jhansi – Orchha (130 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and depart for Orchha. En route, visit the 7-storey Datia Palace, a fine example of Bundela architecture. Continue to Jhansi, where you’ll explore the historical Jhansi Fort. Later, arrive at Orchha and check in to the hotel. Relax and overnight stay in Orchha.

Day 04: Orchha Sightseeing

Post breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Orchha Fort Complex, including the Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, and the revered Ram Raja Mandir. In the evening, attend the Light and Sound Show at Orchha Fort, which narrates the town’s royal legacy. Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Orchha.

Day 05: Orchha – Gwalior Departure (120 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Gwalior Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Madhya Pradesh’s heritage.
