Amarnath Yatra by Trek

After you arrive at Srinagar Airport, our guide Indeed Holidays will receive you and get you transferred to Pahalgam. The worshipper start the Amarnath Yatra by road from Pahalgam. On arrival at Pahalgam transfer to hotel evening at lesure, dinner & overnight stay in hotel at Phalgam.

Early Morning Leave Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) and start driving towards Chandanwari (13 kms distance from Pahalgam). Pahalgam is the best base for most of the treks. Chandanwari (2896 Mts.) is a small shut off vale, at the junction of Sheshnag stream and the stream for Astanmarg. On arrival to Chandanwari, start trekking to Sheshnag located at a distance of around 17 kilometers (3576 Mts.) 7- 8 hours trekking. The trial climbs the Pissu Ghati and then climbs gradually to the Sheshnag Lake. Sheshnag is one of the windiest places in this valley. Dinner and overnight stay in tents at Sheshnag.

Early morning, start your trek to Panchtarni from Sheshnag located at a distance of around 10 kilometers (3657 meters) 4- 6 hours trekking. The trek is through Mahagunas Pass (3200 Mts), and then a gradual reaching to Panchtarni. Further trek Panchtarni to Amarnath cave for darshan, which is located at a distance of 6 kilometers. After reaching, Have a bath in the ice-cold water of Amarnath Stream, which flows, outside the cave. Inside the cave there is scenery of calm tranquillity of white and glistering three massive Lingmas stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesh. Have your dinner and stay overnight in your tents at Amarnath Cave which come with complete bedding and hot water bottles.

After very early morning have delicious breakfast, trekking downward from Amarnath Cave to Baltal. The distance from Baltal base camp to Amarnat Cave is 10 km, The route is ascending right up to the cave. Baltal Amarnath trek is shortest route to reach amarnath cave but also the difficult one, You will need a good pair of waterproof hiking shoes to trek smoothly, you will also need a rain coat or an umbrella, (a hands-free umbrella is better option). The Baltal route can be completed in a day, provided one starts early. On the way Amaranath Cave to Baltal passes through Domial, Barari and Sangam to reach the cave. One can trek or climb on a horse to reach the Baltal. Be prepared to see some stunning natural vistas, rivers and glaciers greeting you on the route. There are langars all the though the route that offer free food to the pilgrims. One sip of the hot tea served in the cold here, and you will experience bliss. You will need Warm and proper clothing gear and trek shoes are a must. Do not forget to carry your camera; you surely won’t want to miss capturing the beauty via your lens. Post your Darshan at Holy cave, return to your base camp at Baltal. You can choose to stay overnight in Baltal or drive back to the hotel in Sonamarg (15 Km from Baltal).

After a wholesome breakfast, Check out The Hotel/Camp, Drive towards Srinagar (Two and a half hour). After reaching your Houseboat, check in to the Houseboat & relax. In the Afternoon get ready for a 60 Minutes Shikara ride in Dal Lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. In The Evening go for Local Sightseeing of famous Mughal Gardens With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them – the three Mughal Gardens of Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors’ concept of paradise and are today very popular places for picnics and excursions.  On  the way visit Jamia Masjid, Hazratbal Shrine and Shankaracharya Temple. Dinner & Overnight at Deluxe Houseboat.
