Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Aurangabad

Upon arrival at Aurangabad Railway Station or Airport, you’ll be received and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, proceed to explore the historic Daulatabad Fort (Devgiri Killa) – a 12th-century fortress that boasts of remarkable defense architecture and panoramic hilltop views. Evening is free for leisure or local market exploration. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 2: Ajanta Caves Excursion (Approx. 105 Kms one way)

After early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to the Ajanta Caves (Please Note: Ajanta Caves are closed on Mondays), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These rock-cut Buddhist caves, dating back to the 2nd century BCE, are world-renowned for their intricate sculptures, detailed frescoes, and paintings that depict Jataka tales and Buddhist philosophy. The horseshoe-shaped gorge contains 30 elaborately carved caves from two different time periods. Return to Aurangabad in the evening. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 3: Ellora Caves – Bibi Ka Maqbara – Panchakki
