Itinerary Details

Day 01| Arrive Srinagar to Baltal/Sonmarg (80 km/ 2 h 30 min approx.)

The Amarnath Yatra begins in Srinagar. When you arrive at the Srinagar airport or bus stand, our representative will meet you. From there, you will drive to Sonmarg or Baltal. Sonmarg is a beautiful place in Jammu and Kashmir, and the drive from Srinagar to this hill station is lovely. Once you arrive, you will check in at your pre-booked hotel or deluxe tents for the night.

Day 02| Baltal – Amaranth Cave – Baltal/Sonamarg

On the second day of your tour, after a tasty breakfast, you will be taken to the Amarnath Cave shrine, which is 10 km away. From Baltal, you will have about a 6-hour walk to reach the cave. If you prefer, you can use a pony, Pithoo, or Palki to help you with the journey on directly payment basis. After your visit to the Holy cave, you will return to your base camp in Baltal. You can either stay overnight in Baltal or go back to your hotel in Sonamarg, which is 15 km from Baltal.

Day 03 | Baltal/Sonamarg to Srinagar (80 km/ 2 h 30 min approx.)

After arriving at Baltal/Sonamarg, you’ll head to Srinagar. Once you get there, you’ll check into a hotel or a deluxe houseboat. You can relax for the rest of the day. In the evening, you have the option to enjoy a Shikara ride on the beautiful Dal Lake. Afterward, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04 | Srinagar | Jammu

After breakfast check-out from the Hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport Or Jammu for onward Flight/Train
